Tomorrow is Thanksgiving!

Well i had surgery back on the 1st of November on my left foot. I haven't done much cross stitching since before Halloween. But I have been working on 3 scarfs for my girls Christmas presents. I will see if I can figure this blog thing out and add pictures. Anyway I spend most of my time right now in bed playing online or knitting. I can walk a little bit but not much. The dr. said no making Thanksgiving that the only thing I was to make was reservations. HA like that's going to happen.  I borrowed a wheel chair from a friend so I will get things done that way. Venus is a very wonderful friend and I am blessed to have her as such.

Tomorrow it will just be the five of us. We usually have 2 or 3 other families here. My bil was to come with his family but because of finances they were unable too. It makes all of us sad, because we always have sooooo much fun when they are here. We usually get a lil merry too. lol
We completely understand though as we have been hit twice with 2 paycuts in a years time.

I know this christmas will be a very tight one for us. Which is why I am trying to make a few things to add to it.

Well lets see if I can get some pictures added.

This is Kathryn's scarf, still in progress. She is my oldest of all girls and a twin. She's my girlie girl.

This is my Halloween Bear I will get back to working on after the holidays and once I can get back out into my cottage.

Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow!

Today I went to the knitting guild I belong too and had a very nice time.  I enjoy going it gives me something else too do.  I also went to my chiropractor first.  Then I dropped off my truck to be aligned, lunch and then dog food.  Picked up the kids and a few extra kids.  One of the lil girls grandpa passed away.  So I was happy to baby sit.  Now that the kids are all older I don't see them as often. So it was very nice even though the reason was very sad.

Here is what I've been working on lately.

I also have to get busy putting together some projects before my surgery next Tue. I'm a bit nervous but more excited about the final recovery.

I have Plantar Faciitis.  My left food is bad.  And I can't walk for long or stand long.  So I will be glad to be able to hike the mountains again and walk for miles.  And lose weight again. lol  But it's 10 weeks I will be on crutches and 1 year recovery.  But my doctor says I can put weight on my foot after 10 weeks.

Now here's a question for all.  If you know of any good cross stitch, crochet, knitting, miniature doll house, blogs please leave the website.  I need lots to look at while I'm laid up for the 10 weeks.

Thanks Bunches
